Re: UK and the EU: In or out?

Ok, maybe there was still room for more. Let’s compromise on “peak” totalitarian. The EU are making conciliatory noises now it seems. So we are over that hump. I love the way all the remainers (especially that Gina Miller and all the QCs and luvvies) have made a really soft and squishy Brexit less l...

Re: UK and the EU: In or out?

I meant the Irish thing, also a Danish referendum. Both rerun. There were others too I think. I should said “that the EU encouraged to have rerun.”

But it’s not true anyway. Greenland escaped in 1982! But that was before the EU went full on totalitarian.

Maybe we aren’t out of the woods yet.

Re: Where is Paul?

There was a stupid old man pathetically trying to ice skate. He fell over. It turned out to be me.

Ambulance, A&E, CT scan, neck brace and mild concussion.

Re: UK and the EU: In or out?

Is this the first time that the EU hasn’t ignored or rerun a referendum about membership?

Re: UK and the EU: In or out?

I’m not sure that making people aware of violence can be called “raking up muck.” Thanks to the progressives we have to be very careful with words now. We are all having to learn how to twist people’s words and take them out of context now. I’ve only been to Finland once. I remember the zoo and the...

Re: UK and the EU: In or out?

Damn facts and statistics! (I especially like the "reputation for tolerance and progressiveness." It's a bit of a theme everywhere. Wise up. Progressive = intolerant.) A NEW REPORT from the European Union’s Fundamental Rights Agency shows that people of African descent in Finland face the highest le...

Re: UK and the EU: In or out?

It’s hard to tell how good they’ll be from a photograph. Other than it shows Finland’s famous lack of diversity, just like the EU.

Re: General Election 2019

I think racism is the left's last stand. It's trivial to twist people's words out of context. It's impossible to disprove, other than by boring statistics. In the UK we know who the racists are. Corbyn, Livingstone, Loach, etc. have made that clear to all.

Maybe it's different in the US.

Well, you’re wrong! But because I’m a Conservative I’m perfectly happy for you to have a different opinion. I just don’t care what it is!

Re: General Election 2019

Where did it all go wrong for Labour? Their message to their traditional voters was so right on.
