Happy Bloomsday.

Who would have figured this guy to be a Joycean?

Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

These are not unrelated things. Trump and his friends are not damaging the world just for the fun of it, they're being paid for it. Follow the money (and cut off their flow). This is one thing which the Communists have got right in theory, though they never really implemented it: "Money will never ...

Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

OK, that's a fair point. And that is indeed what he did when Mueller didn't indict him. Of course, that was because Mueller is under the impression that a sitting president can't be indicted, but whatever. So, with apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson, I guess the question is whether it is better to h...

Re: Need Help: Vegetarian Recipes

I got in JIT :-) better JIT than J2L! I had to minimise BYND regret so chucked out some 85 puts on the close, which expiry on Friday. Nickels are so much sweeter in the shadow of the bulldozer. (but $2 seemed fairly chunky).  Beyond Meat Option Buyer Makes Big Bet Ahead Of Earnings "The trader firs...

So this is what drives the stock market.
Fear and greed.   Same for all markets.
It must be a very stressful job.
Dunno. I have nothing to equities.
I am just bored at home at the moment.

Re: Need Help: Vegetarian Recipes

So this is what drives the stock market. This thing is monster volatile!  The decay is huge.. bought back the 95 puts for only $1 more that the 85s. Interestingly, the vol backwardation is more gentle than I would expect  280%, 170%, 140%  for the next three weekly expires. Anyhow, enough options g...

Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

In what conceivable world would Trump care about climate change?
This always seem the most apposite Trump meme to me.

cf. The Jeep problem (it's somewhere in Bellman's 1950s book but googling should find some references).

Grime?
Thanks. Good one.  You are down with the kids!
I just read about "Grime for Corbyn" online.  I wonder if that marriage will last the course?

Re: Are you ready for Brexit?

Milkshake, Molotov cocktail, whatever. You're about to get some free advice from a visiting dignitary on how to deal with Brussels. While I wouldn't exactly wish Corbyn upon you, there would be some entertainment value in watching him deal with Trump, and vice versa. Boris, much less so. I think th...
