Re: Need Help: Vegetarian Recipes

BTW, I sold BYND with a very good profit, because I needed money for a charity project </virtue signalling> and also because I'm unsure what's going to happen next (I don't know of any further sprouting success announcements). Did you get in close to the IPO levels??  Respect!    </greed and envy s...

Re: Are you ready for Brexit?

Don't throw away your tickets yet, Fat White Family is still on: "In a 2015 tweet, the punk rock band, from south-east London, said anyone who voted Tory had "blood" on their hands, and called for them to be executed." I think we deported Abu Qatada to Jordan for saying such things? I wonder why it...

I can't see how use of this invention would lead to anything other than a trip to (human) hospital with severe abdominal lesions but I salute someones bravery!

Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

So, the GO fucking P just closed down the last abortion clinic in the state of Missouri. I know nobody else around here cares, but it's still a pretty big deal for anybody with a concern for women's right to control over their own bodies.  Those protesters dressed as characters from the Handmaid's ...

Re: Are you ready for Brexit?

It seems harder and harder to find any configuration that doesn't end up with a no-deal brexit. I bet we end up with Corbyn plus no deal. Trying to navigate between S...

Re: which movie should I see this weekend?

Dawn of the Dead was always a favourite.

This scene seems a rather apt metaphor for the UK at the moment.

Re: which movie should I see this weekend?

Civilisation? With Kenneth Clark? I ended up watching BBC's Civilisations series till the morning. Good stuff! I guess I should have asked about something more boring than I, because I love zombie movies! :-D The Game of Thrones craze (I had to google what are White Walkers) makes me worried about m...
