Very pretty! And, since you asked and we’re (more or less) in the season: rakfisk, gravlaks, juleribbe, hodesylte, and so on.

Re: Stupid question of the day

It needed a little prompt engineering, but I got to: “Ah, "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen! He's the boss when it comes to rock and roll, renowned for his music and stage presence. His nickname certainly fits his iconic status in the music industry.”

Re: Stupid question of the day

Why wouldn't someone want to see line numbers in her/his code editor?
Because it increases the temptation to insert a goto statement?

Hopefully the recorded talks will be available by the weekend. We plan to binge watch in the evening - that's enough time for the whole conference here at this time of the year...

Re: America - Home of Bugs Bunny

Clearly, obeying judges orders is for the little people. The good news is that the prosecutors and courts in NYC have some experience dealing with criminal families. And, yes, I know this is a civil trial, but testimony delivered so far is discoverable in the following criminal trial(s).

Re: norway

"Bear?" Frankly, it looks like shit to me. Seriously, though, how big was it? The tar-looking stuff is probably from eating meat, which brown bears don't necessarily get a lot of. What do bears eat in Norway? It could be fox scat, but it doesn't have the typical shape, and it might be a b...

Re: Stupid question of the day

Assuming that we are talking about US ‘40 Act mutual funds, the benchmark will be stated in the prospectus. The fund manager’s web site will also almost surely make a reference to it, as will the Bloomberg DES page for the fund. I should know this, but I’m conjecturing that a vaguely similar story i...
