Excel Extensibility Conference Interest?

June 12th, 2018, 2:06 pm

I am thinking of running a low-priced one-day conference in London mid October on Excel programmability/extensibility with a strong focus on Excel UDFs. Speakers would hopefully include Govert van Drimmelen (Excel DNA), Tony Roberts (PY XLL and Jinx), someone from the Microsoft Excel Extensibility Development team (Javascript UDFs etc), ...

How much interest do you think there would be in attending this?

What level would these be? absolute beginner to expert?
If somewhere gave a detailed seminar on F#/Excel I would attend.

just out of curiosity, what does "low-priced" mean in this context?

@Cuchulainn - mid-level to expert: should have Excel development experience with one or more languages and an interest in UDFs:
beginners would drown, mid-level to experts either learn about technologies they are not currently using and/or get a chance to discuss with the heavy-duty guys who wrote XLDNA, PYXLL, Excel-JS and/or discuss the impact of the new XL rich data types and anything else that is announced by then

@ppauper - I just need to cover the speakers international & Uk travel expenses so 50-100 GBP

Thanks
