Re: Political Correctness is Dead! Time to say what you really think

All I know from hearing her speak is that she is a very free thinker! And is or was some form of commie. She is v comfortable with people having different views from her so she can’t be a proper commie. I’m easy to pigeonhole, and there’ll be many in that same pigeonhole with me. But she needs a pigeonhole all to herself!
I can imagine being a "very free thinker" requires loosening up a few screws. We are both in a way lucky that our handshakes don't have the power of changing the history, but don't be surprised if those who have such obligations won't shake your hand after your BP friends.

Unfortunately I don't enjoy offending people, even some UKIP loonies, self-proclaimed professors and ML experts, non-vegans, antique book traders or other types of cancers on the disintegrating social tissue. I felt bad all day after writing that post about that woman! It completely doesn't make sense, but that's true. I want to live in a deep forest with just non-human animals :'-(

"I respect kindness in human beings first of all, and kindness to animals. I don't respect the law…"
"It's not that the Irish are cynical. It's rather that they have a wonderful lack of respect for everything and everybody."

Brendan Behan

If you meet the President of Ireland, you call him "Michael" or "Leo", UK or NL you have to grovel in front of him. Soo hierarchical.

The first comma is superfluous.

And auctioneers of antique books.

It wasn’t meant to be miscellaneous saints. It was miscellaneous (people) of which examples were saints, etc.

Viz def wrong here. A simple e.g. would have been fine but too formal.

why would someone spend much time on rules that change over time, such rules are there to be broken, why it evolves over time! Spend time on laws off the universe instead!

Cuch "Start with Latin."
"I doubt not but I shall incur the Censures of learned Men for putting this Book into English, because, they'll say, it renders Philosophy cheap and vulgar...." written by Christian Huygenes (I am reading his books now) and inscribed to Constantine Huygens (Late secretary to his Majesty King Williams).

English is cheap, try old norse instead, or better Runes. Latin could do!

In our latest Merrill Perspectives Event on Retirement, Ken Dychtwald suggests:
“There's so much attention about wanting to be youthful. We might do well if we also thought about how we can be useful.”

This is not funny. A lisp is a disability.
