On Twitter one often sees “The following media includes potentially sensitive content.” I obviously assume it will be a video of a beheading. It never is. It’s always a graph purporting to show that climate change is a con. Sensitive content!

Well, two kinds, some lose their leaves in the winter, while the others do not.

The garden of one of my Eton friends has dug out trenches for the servants so that you don't see them when playing croquet. And tunnels going into the house.

There are rumours that there is a secret tunnel between our house and the church. We haven’t found it. But we do at least have our own private above-ground entrance. I keep meaning to put a sign on this gate to deter visitors, “Beware of Dog.” On the other side it would have “Beware of God.”
