Khan of Londonistan told his citizens that  "Terrorism just "part and parcel of living in a big city"
The response to that on the web seems to be "Except if you live in Tokyo, Prague, Budapest, Warsaw etc etc. Spot the difference"

What he actually said :
"Part and parcel of living in a big city is to be prepared for these things. That means being vigilant, having a police force that is in touch with communities, it means the security services being ready, but also it means exchanging ideas and best practice"
What he recently said:
"You will see an increased police presence today, including armed officers and uniformed officers. There is no reason to be alarmed by this"
We all know how the Trump and his followers read it.

An increase in police presence would be because of an expected increase in the risk of terrorism. The question is then whether the increased police presence in part or wholly balances that increase. After one has done a careful study of the pros and cons one can rationally decide whether or not to be more or less alarmed than before.

Or you can skip straight to being alarmed to be on the safe side.

No, the clip I've seen, what he actually said, rather than what the apologists like AH_ claim he said, was, "what I do know is
part and parcel of living in a great global city is you've got to be prepared for these things,
you've got to be vigilant, you've got to support the police doing an incredibly hard job,
you've got to support the security services,
and I think speculating when you don't know the facts is unwise."
that's somewhat different to what AH_ claimed he said, but I'll be charitable to AH_, and say it's possible that khan gave more than one speech.

Good job. You are getting there. Your first attempt at quoting him was - "Terrorism just "part and parcel of living in a big city". (quotes are yours) You have changed it now.

I imagine that the only way to vote for Zac Goldsmith was to get royally stoned. I was wondering why they would put up the worse possible candidate many times until today, when the two main political threads crossed in my mind: Goldsmith - any kinship with the £££Referendum Party£££ leader?

Stay Calm and become watchful. Watchfulness is not the same as being alarmed.
Stay away from large crowds and parties. Stay out of crowded pubs.
An increased police presence will make people feel safer but the danger will remain the same. Terrorists will simply target civilians in the places that have fewer police officers or just attack the police first.

I hope this is fake news.
A story about the UK government clamping down on extremism.
No, not mohamedans who support Islamic State, rather a UKIP supporter who told a joke about Caitlyn Jenner

so have the islamists stopped shouting "allahu akbar" when they kill people?
the media has been reporting this as "god is great(est)" which gives the credit to God rather than allah
They seem to have made an effort during the last few attacks to ensure that allah gets full credit
the london bridge attack, they shouted "this is for allah"
and the latest attack, they shouted "allah will get you"
