Zombie movies are low-budget because the zombies don't get speaking parts. How many zombies have PhDs in Finnegans Wake?

In this movie the black man is killed.

And in how many ways Joyce spells "brains"?

BTW, this one is apparently trending:

Since many people are "fascinated" by the Chernobyl disaster, on 28 May in London at The British Library, Serhii Plokhy (Ukrainian historian) will be talking about it with Luke Harding, the author of the book Chernobyl: History of a Tragedy (Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction 2018).

And I watched those 15 minutes of The Game of Thrones only because I watch everything with Sean Bean (I think he's hot).

Civilisation? With Kenneth Clark?
I ended up watching BBC's Civilisations series till the morning. Good stuff! I guess I should have asked about something more boring than I, because I love zombie movies! :-D
The Game of Thrones craze (I had to google what are White Walkers) makes me worried about myself, though. Everybody watches and talks about it: men and women, young and old, whites and colours, ... I found it inane and repetitive (which is quite an achievement considering I watched only 15 minutes of the pilot). I feel socially unadjusted.

A follow-up, with Mary Beard, Simon Schama and some younger guy with dreads.

Dawn of the Dead was always a favourite.

This scene seems a rather apt metaphor for the UK at the moment.

Any movie with zombies -- zombies are boring. (Unless they're White Walkers  :D)

Watch the Ascent of Man - it was the BBC's riposte with a scientific edge. Bronowski and his speech, standing in the ash pool at Auschwitz still gives me the shivers now.

Great recommendation, thanks. I've heard about the series and Bronowski was a fascinating personality. I should watch it before the Man descents again :-)
I've been to Auschwitz when I was a child. Today I'm not sure I can handle the scene you described. Not how I expected to grow up.

I watched the film alphago last night. It explains little of the technical aspects of the events of the film but it was totally absorbing seeing immense stress play itself out on the face of Lee Sedol. I really hope he has made significant profit from the encounter.

At least there's some movement in the film .. you know how it ends, including credits and fin, again.

Westminster is a place
A place where nothing
Nothing ever happens
Heaven
Heaven is a place
A place where nothing
Nothing ever happens

It's hard to imagine that
Nothing at all
Could be so exciting
Could be this much fun

Indeed, 1977, I saw them live in '77.

This is for Boris and Rory. They both have a great future behind them.

Mommy, daddy, come and look at me now
I'm a big man in a great big town
Years ago who would believe it's true
Goes to show what a little faith can do
I was complaining, I was down in the dumps
I feel so strong now 'cause you pulled me up
Pull me up up up up, up up up up
I slipped, and I got pulled
Pulled up, I tripped, and then you pulled
You pulled me up
I slipped, and I got pulled
Pulled up, I slipped, and then you pulled
You pulled me up, pull me up, pull me up
Pulled me up up up up, up up up up
I drift away to another land
Sleeping dreaming such a simple thing
I think of things that I might be
I see my name go down in history
I was complaining, I was down in the dumps
I feel so strong now 'cause you pulled me up
Pull me up up up up, up up up up
I slipped,…
