On this day in history:

1922 James Joyce's "Ulysses" published in Paris (1,000 copies)

So 02.02.22

A special day for some people here perhaps.

There was some noise twittered by wanka Trump about this being a very special day, repeated by many. Not sure what was wrong with 01-02-2010...

Well, I meant the publication of Ulysses, actually.

Another interesting sequence and date:

01.01.2002

The Euro!

Who would have predicted then that the UK would be out of the EU on 01.02.2020?

Well, the actual introduction of the Euro was 1/1/1999. The latter date was just when coins and banknotes were introduced.

Indeed and another important date:

16.09.1992

One way or another this should loop back to time series forecasting...

Talkin' it over, just the two of us

That's funny - my rejoinder coming soon on a music thread so this one can go back to astrology, time series, crystal balls, perfect palindromes, the lovely number 2 (one of my personal favorites, along with 3, 4, 9, and 16), etc....
