On this day in history:

1922 James Joyce's "Ulysses" published in Paris (1,000 copies)

So 02.02.22

A special day for some people here perhaps.

There was some noise twittered by wanka Trump about this being a very special day, repeated by many. Not sure what was wrong with 01-02-2010...

Well, I meant the publication of Ulysses, actually.

Another interesting sequence and date:

01.01.2002

The Euro!

Who would have predicted then that the UK would be out of the EU on 01.02.2020?

Well, the actual introduction of the Euro was 1/1/1999. The latter date was just when coins and banknotes were introduced.

Indeed and another important date:

16.09.1992

One way or another this should loop back to time series forecasting...

Sharing horizons that are new to us
Watching the signs along the way
Talkin' it over, just the two of us
Workin' together day to day
Together
And when the evening comes, we smile
So much of life ahead
We'll find a place where there's room to grow
(And yes, we've just begun)
