I am afraid to say it, but only a heathen would serve afternoon tea in a steel teapot, what?
I learned two things at drama school. First, that I couldn't act; second, that it didn't matter.

Points well taken, both of you, and even though I *am* a barbarian, I suspected as much when I was there.Eastbourne is a little worse for wear. At least I was travelling at great speed in a sleek steel Swedish cage.

Step over the gap, not into it. Watch the space between platform and train.

It's a nickname that I use for such things that will be in the public eye. Like you might use "pooper" or "gaseous haze".You will remember this pseudonym because it is close to something real, but it does not give anything away precisely.I don't always use mackbar because then all roads will either lead to me or to snack bars in Australia. And yes, I am a Democrat and have met President Bill Clinton, but I merely shook his hand and had a photo taken. If you are a Major Donor to the Party, more is not asked of you, nor is it given.
