You are likely just kidding, but packaging is important! I would put that tray into a sturdy paper bag, close it up and put a label on it - "Leela's Food." He should understand.I invited home a Vegan Viking. We will be cooking! (He claims he can't cook, so I need to teach him everything - you know, slicing onion, etc.)
The question is where do I hide this from his sight? (Not Leela, her chicken.)
Turning the situation - if I were going on an at-home dinner date with a non-Vegan Viking, I would hope not to see a fresh and bloody deer leg in the refrigerator.
But if there was a glass bowl of venison medallions for him and his wolf, Fenrir, that would be ok.
