Nothing makes me happier than hearing someone bite on the crust of my bread and make sounds to express the satisfaction of their taste buds. After so many years it's not easy to surprise with something new/better, but I experiment all the time. It's also exciting for me to discover what a new person likes, but in essence I bake bread to be loved.

There are three numbers in this story: 32, 27, and 40. Maybe the writer got them mixed up. And the cow pictures did remind me of somebody around here...

When I worked in HFT, I wrote a lot of Python code, but not a single line of C++ code.

I knew people who wrote HFT trading models in Perl or KDB.

Unless one is just a sucker for C++, it needs to be considered that the C++ code development time is several times longer than in the case of Python.

Not my field, but I thought that a lot of the action in this space had moved to FPGAs.
