..... In particular, it is not clear if new posts have appeared in a given forum. Maybe it is just a matter of getting used to...
The issue may be that there are unread topics in each forum.

If you visit each forum and click "Mark topics read" (center right button above the tabular list of topics), then the new posts will be obvious in the top-level forum view.

It seems that deleted threads are 'visible' if they have been referenced before deletion?

edit: ah, thread was moved, but no notification?(?)

I cannot seem to get the 'insert code' option to work. It gives gobbly gook when I use it. See e.g.

When I log in, I get a modal dialog window asking if I want to vote for one of two presidential candidates. There is no N/A option, so we are trapped.

I did vote but it means nothing. Rather annoying early in the morning.

Thanks, Admin , I now have the option not to vote which is what most Republicans will be doing.

Too much blank space in thread pages, what I liked of the old version it had more to read in the same page.

Avatar Column eats a high percentage of the page, Why not assign a corner to the avatar and  leave the rest for the contribution of  wilmottians
have the pm of the old version been erased? I can't find mine

Questionnaire on Jeremy C was asked twice.
JC is best thing since sliced bread. Is that the correct answer?

Jeremy is a very nice man but voting twice amounts to gerrymandering. I thought we had left that all behind, what?
