Where can I find decent literature on pre-trade compliance and risk management in an investment bank? I'm especially interested in state of the art systems and methods within risk measurement (market, credit and operational risk).

Not kidding, but that is a misnomer.Generally, the main aim in risk management is to produce "risk" reports for the comfort zone of senior management - the reports serve a regulatory purpose foremost. As a consequence risk managers tend to use methods that are in the public domain and commonly accepted - the lowest common denominator in other words. State of the art is hardly where the focus lies. Some of the most bizarre conversations I have had over the years have been with so called risk managers. They are at a disadvantage since they are neither model developers not traders. It's not easy for them to be state of the art.
