I'd be in favor of his hitting the ground from a high altitude (without a parachute).

Megan Rapinoe: World Cup winners USA to snub White House invite

I would love to snub a Trump invitation. But since I have neither done anything important nor given him lots of money, that’s not going to happen.
I caught the end of the ticker tape parade in honour of the team in NYC yesterday. FYI they seem to use cut up email printouts instead of ticker tape nowadays. I got to read all about Vera’s business meetings.

Now they have won something does this mean the US officially plays proper sports now?

Umm, well - women’s soccer has been contested in 8 World Cups and six Olympic Games, out of which the US have garnered eight championships, two second places, and three third places. So this is not really new news. Incidentally, there are more active female soccer players in the US than in the total of the next eight ranked countries in the sport, so also not very a very surprising outcome.

Maybe rugby instead of flimsy American football.

I suppose he mis-spoke, could happen to anyone. More telling is his later seeking someone/something else to blame for that, instead of just shrugging "oops, silly me" and moving on.

What is the problem with the citizenship question, actually? UK asks such questions in official surveys: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/populationandmigration/internationalmigration/datasets/populationoftheunitedkingdombycountryofbirthandnationality So did the UK 2011 Census: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/populationandmigration/populationestimates/articles/economicandsocialcharacteristicsoftheresidentpopulationofenglandandwalesbynationalityandcountryofbirthin2011/2013-07-12
The drooling loser lost this one 100%. We could add more color, but I don't think it should be necessary. Meanwhile, he has been censored by a federal court for blocking people from following his official US Twitter feed because, you know, they don't like him. So stupidly unconstitutional that it could really only have been done by a Trump. Or maybe a Kushner.

The racist pig is left entirely unchecked. One has to wonder what form his Kristallnacht will take, and whether it will take place before or after the elections.

In case there was any doubt, at this point in time Republican = Racist. Not just in the traditional sense of trying to find a nice neighborhood and school district with suitable people to live in, but an outright "fuck the brown and black people and send them back to whatever shithole country they came from!" Given the Drumpf family history, as well as mushroom boy's inclination to have sex with (and occasionally marry) girls from Eastern Europe, it could of course be viewed as ironic, if it weren't for all the people he and his henchmen are killing.

In a purely symbolic vote, the House today condemned every bone in the Trump body as being racist. Irrelevant? Sure, but then again, what else can be done at this stage?

Slow would be nice. I’m afraid this is taking place on a rather accelerated pace.

As an aside, why do all the crowd chants so frequently end up being three syllables?  "Lock her up",  "send her back" "build that wall" etc.
