AZ half a percent diff there? and still counting last few percent, so possibly re-count? but then rules different in every state?
Not in Navajo Nation!!
In Arizona, the Navajo Nation showed overwhelming support for Joe Biden. Apache, Navajo, and Coconino counties—all of which overlap with the Navajo Nation—gave 97% support to Biden (73,954 votes) compared with just 3% (2,010 votes) for President Donald Trump, according to the Navajo Times.

While punditry has focused on Biden’s success with Latino voters in the state, his performance inside the Navajo Nation has been even more stunning and is arguably just as much a rebuke of Trump and his inept pandemic response—which has been particularly devastating to Indigenous Americans—as it is an endorsement of Biden’s policies. The Navajo Nation, the largest reservation in the U.S., had at least 560 deaths from Covid-19—a higher death rate than any state.

//
First, John Wayne decimated them, then Covid.
Quite misleading at this point in time, with all the results in.
"Apache, Navajo, and Coconino counties—all of which overlap with the Navajo Nation—gave 97% support to Biden".
The sentence suggests each of those three counties gave 97% support to Biden, which turned out not to be true.

Final results for Navajo County from WSJ, with all precincts reporting, and ignoring small Libertarian vote:
Trump: 27,657 (53.4%)
Biden: 23,383 (45.2%)

If the writer meant the sum of the 3 counties added up to 97% Biden, 3% Trump -- that turned out to be way wrong too. To be fair, Navajo Times byline was Nov 5. Fine -- where is their correction?

Here are the Navajo County demographics

Might be a reference to a Hail Mary Pass Trump legal strategy of getting, let's say, Pennsylvania results not certified, causing (says the strategy) Republican controlled legislature there to choose the electors.

On the face, such an outcome would seem an outrageous way to settle things in Pennsylvania. Certainly the Supremes would have an opinion on that.

Better to just do a recount in Pennsylvania if it came to that, but I don't know what the law there says. And ACB is a stickler for what the law says! Plus there will be one in Georgia. Maybe Arizona if the final margin is less than 0.1%. If he wins by recounts, then he wins. But historically, recounts don't change things by more than a few hundred votes, and only GA is scheduled so far.

I think it's over, but 2020 is a weird year!

If ultimately Trump wins, even the Wilmott forum Democrats will riot!  :D

We will definitely take up arms. But with new Covid cases now running well north of 150,000 a day and growing explosively, we can hope that it will wipe out a reasonable chunk of the non-mask-wearing and non-social-distancing people, virtually all of whom are Trump supporters.

The NRA/GOP interpretation of the 2nd amendment is obviously bullshit. Unless you honestly believe that it guarantees any citizen the right to possess (if not necessary use) tactical nukes and VX missiles. Single shot, front loading muskets is one thing (the state of the art technology for a well regulated militia in the day) and might be OK. Anything much beyond that should not be called for. Unless you’re ready to go all the way.

At some point you’re taught that you only need one shot... Anyway, on a mostly unrelated note, I checked and you can indeed be disbarred for assisting a client in the filing of frivolous lawsuits. I think it only applies to the actual lawyers on record, and not their firm, but something to contemplate for Jones Day.

On a closely related note. The losing loser who lost has decreed that no Covid vaccines will be made available to New York. Mostly because we hate him like (as?) the plague, but also because Cuomo had the temerity to challenge a deeply flawed distribution scheme. It’s hard to get too excited about it, since little is likely to happen in this space until after the transition of power anyway, but still noteworthy.

It's a non-issue unless Cuomo rejects the (likely) FDA approval. Ditto for Newsom and other western states. As a practical matter, sounds like the earliest US deliveries will start in late December by truck from Pfizer center at Kalamazoo, Michigan. So, I will guess they will first go to hospital workers in the Midwest, and then elsewhere.

Hardest hit neighborhoods in NYC probably already have herd immunity. Of course, people should get vaccinated anyway!
