Re: What is Borisism?

Their comments came as British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Britain will become a global, trail-blazing country after it leaves the EU and unveiled the government's full plans to mark Brexit day.

Does that include getting the trains to run on time?

I don't think there's much correlation between train punctuality and economic growth!

Which reminds me, I've been complaining about the chase for greater and greater economic growth long before Extinction Rebellion was a gleam in anyone's eye. I think Middle Ages with vaccines, paracetamol and Netflix would be ideal.

Would you like to repeat that?
Tell that to the commuters up North; lost pay, jobs, productivity.

Business groups have raised concerns about the prospect of divergence from the single market, after the Chancellor Sajid Javid said last weekend there would not be alignment.

Sometimes divergence is good, sometimes bad. Happy to help!

Not many trains left up North after the Beeching report cuts, which Johnson wants to partially reverse.

Somehow resonates with dropping the badger cull (at least in some areas) - science shows it does more harm than good.

If Paul agrees to be my business partner, I can provide my microsimulations ;-)

If you can't beat 'em , join 'em. Personally, stimulating home-grown talent should also be a priority. At my last course, 3 of the 22 students were British,  higher than the average down the years.

Would they be 'migrants'?

I am pretty staggered that Nicholas Parsons still does Just A Minute now, at the age of 96, having started on the stage in 1945.
Ah spoke too soon. It seems we had the last hesitation, repetition, or deviation. RIP
