Re: Stupid question of the day

Am invited to an Arabian Nights theme party. What can I wear that isn’t insulting or cultural appropriation? Or should I just drop these friends? Clearly they are not as woke as I.

Re: Are you ready for Brexit?

All that has been clarified is that if your team captain kicks the ball into his (or her) own goal then you will lose.  We have learned that most of our MPs are liars (see manifestos). And that the EU bureaucrats are even more unpleasant and antidemocratic than we imagined.  I still have no idea wha...

Apparently there are now more than two UK universities, and most give PhDs. There is no difference in meaning between DPhil and PhD. (Your uninforme...

It’s how I’ve always imagined Italian politics to be. But sadly we don’t have the porn stars.

Re: Need Help: Vegetarian Recipes

I think vegans are playing this brilliantly. That’s comparing them with various ism-ists that have been getting more publicity for longer, but who have turned people off by aggression. It’s got to help that the Animal Lib nutters seem to be quiet. (Or is everyone else just noisier?) As long as they ...

I have seen a nature program about monkeys where indeed one monkey sounded the alarm so that others would run away and it could eat all of the fruit that had fallen from a  tree.
Birds do it too. Including our chickens.
Birds do it, bees do it, even the Empire actor Jussie Smollett does it.
