Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

No one actually likes tofu. At least no one adores it like some do Marmite.

Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

Would I be right in saying Trump was a bit of a marmite character?

Re: Are you ready for Brexit?

We have defamation laws in the UK. Not so much in the US. As a long-time subscriber to National Enquirer you must know that. (I think that the Duchess of Cambridge is on her 27th pregnancy now. You don't see that on the BBC either!)

Re: Are you ready for POST BREXIT?

I don't see how. It was a vote to leave the EU and we left the EU. (So I don't even know why I said "mostly" earlier.) But my impression is that EUrophiles have a story going around in their heads about a) what they wanted to achieve (fair enough) and b) what Brexiteers ought to want (not ...

Re: Are you ready for POST BREXIT?

It's already mostly done what it set out to do. So it can be assessed right now as a success!

Re: Random Republican WINGNUTS (or RRWs as they are affectionately known as)

It's only a song.  You are obssessed. I used to sing German songs in German on stage in the 60s (to thunderdous applause) but TBH I preferred Rogers and Hammerstein. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlDpF7jKGPA We learned it at summer school in Donegal. BTW does BREXIT have an anthem yet? I’m thinking “Spre...

Ted Cruz flies over the cuckoo's nest https://www.rte.ie/news/us/2021/0218/1197998-ted-cruz/ It’s Texas. They live, and frequently die, by their own rules. Good for them!!! People write songs about such things!! I struggle to think of any songs about following other people's rules. Oh, wait, of cou...

Re: Facebook

Why not try Linkedin aka FB 2.0? We could do with your help against Remoaners who say not nice things about B***IT. Invite Tony Blair, even he has started to realise how useless the EU is (Article 16). Oh, and all those continentals who can't get the vaccine. TB is the kind of guy who makes his min...

Identity politics

My pronouns are he/him.

That's if you can't bring yourself to use the formal "Your Deliciousness."

In a pinch you can use "Oy, you!" But only if followed by "Did you drop this fifty pound note?"

Re: Facebook

From a practical standpoint, I can't delete myself here.  Even the "Right to be Forgotten" in the EU doesn't quite work on the Forum and going manually post by post would take...years? : D  So, for better or worse, I am trapped in cyber-amber. Your wish... It just takes a few clicks and i...

Re: Facebook

One has to login to one's deleted account in order to ask. No doubt you have thought of this, but it doesn't seem like people  are making these delete decisions - AI/machines are. And maybe you were deleted because there is another Paul Wilmott who has been banned for whatever activities (fair or n...
