Once we are weaned off oil for energy what will we do with the extra oil? I know, more plastics! I think I’d rather we burned the oil.

Here we go again, lefties wanting to turn everything into a fight!

My default for everything is now "on the fence." There's a much better view, it's not so crowded, and the people you meet up here are much more interesting!

I can't (ever) disagree with kat. I went into a Primark yesterday, acres of plastic destined/designed to last a few days. In a corner was a recycling container where customers could put their castoffs. This container was slightly larger than a pedal bin. To be fair, it was a full pedal bin.

The west will invent a battery the size of a postage stamp that will power a whole city for a century. China will, ahem, "borrow" the technology. They will then close down all their polluting power stations. Climate change fixed. So spend less time worrying about the fate of the planet and...
