<t>fmfreshman, It is never too late to do anything. I was 36 when I entered quant space and I am enjoying it thoroughly. Quants typically are older because most of them have PhDs. I should say you are young to be entering the field at 30!!!Pay also is better than doing application development/suppor...

Morgan Stanley Strats and Modeling

I took the test today. 100 questions to be answered in 90 mins. Questions covered FI, Options, Probability, Stochastic Calculus and C++. Questions were very tough and time was definitely not enough to solve all of them. There was also 0.25 points penalty for wrong answers.

Thanks SierpinskyJanitor for your reply. At this stage the test is supposed to be generic. Only after passing the test will I be called for interview. Then they might let me know what specific area I will be interviewing for. I am reading Crack et al right now. Thanks
