Profits are getting smaller and the maintenance costs are getting higher every year. I personally find this process quite fascinating but i guess only the big players will survive because the small ones wont have the money to maintain the network system. I have heard that if you are interested in Hedge Funds you should look in Switzlerland and Luxembourg and if you are interested in prop firms you should look in Netherlands. Is this true?

Probably UK/London has the most jobs in the sector but which other countries/cities in EU have decent career opportunities?
I'm talking about buy side quant positions.
