<t>Thanks for the info. I don't understand your comment on the basis risk (are you taking about the spread difference between the CDS and the bond. how do you define it). In addition do you see other risks (e.g. embedded to bond trading) which could conflict with the risks embedded in the short CDS ...

Hi, is there somebody who can explain me the (good and bad) consequences of hedging a short CDS position via shorting bonds?I was already thinking about:a) interest rate risk (can be hegded via IRS)b) the funding of collateral for lending the bondc) ...regardsEgmont

Perhaps you know somebody who disposes of Bloomberg, but they have a very well documented help functions, and hence you dispose of the most used technical indicators. From my experience, i can assure you that it really works , especially for intraday trading.ciaoEgmont
