Ditto for Birkbeck, it's on the web. As for programming, we're promised a gentle intro into C, followed by C++. My understanding is that a good knowledge is not neccessary, as it will be taught.

Birckbeck's MSc in Financial Engineering is a new course this academic year, but they have been running a "straight" Finance MSc. The people setting it up have previously been involved in doing the same at Imperial, and Birckbeck has some well-known academics on their books....
