I have to make a choice. Which is better for the coming year, bonus wise? Working for a bond trading desk or an equity trading desk? Having chosen that, prop trading or flow trading?

Anyone heard about Citadel ERAM group? What do they do.I was told ERAM stands for Equity Research And Modelling. sounds quiteobvious, but I was wondering if thats all there is to it or is it a trading desk as well.

any comp sci in this year's NYU MathFin program

I looked at the curriculum for both. NYU seemed more practical than Columbia. Columbia was very theoretical and mathematically intensive. Also, heard NYU has a better placement record when compared to Columbia.

Glad to know. How is the transition, especially with regards to the mathematics? Right now, I am taking some background courses in Mathematics.I work for a Quantitative group in our bank. Found the work interesting and so I applied for this program. Do you have a prior background in math?

I am joining NYU's Math Finance program this fall. I work for a big investment bank in NY and will be doing this program part time.I have a masters in Comp Sci. Just wanted to know if anyone with the same background joining the same program.
