how is this book? what level of quantitative knowledge is needed to understand it?

i have to pay a $50 premium for a minitab text containing a CD of the Student Version of Minitab 14 over one without the CD.I am just wondering how much difference is between the standard version minitab and the student version?is the student version worth $50?

i got damodaran's free manuscripts online. what kinda differences are between damodaran's and mckinsey's discussions of DCFs?
