iTraxx tranche delta-adjusted basis meaning???

I have seen some headlines recently stating that as Index has tightened equity and mezz have both tightened but on a delta-adjusted basis equity has tightened but mezz has widened. Would anyone pls be be able to explain to me the logic behind this process and what it means practically? Thanks

Time decay in Credit

what i dont understand is why if one is equity tranche long but delta hedged why does it become positive to neg carry over time. Am not understanding what is happening here. Any feedback most appreciated, Thanks.
