Thanks DCFC,Let me try to see if I can connect to my database using ADO. I have not tried this. It may take me some time to get this working as I have my regular work to do. I'll get back to you and let you know.

I am using ODBC to connect to the SQL. The ODBC connection uses MSQuery. I can see all the tables in the SQL database and I can pass the SQL coding in MSQuery. How do I bypass the MSQuery? Thanks,-Rob

Quotealthough I learned chess from an early age I don't think its much use as a trader, except perhaps in training to 'think 7 moves ahead', but there are better games for doing that. What other games do you suggest?
