investment bank list

I would just search on Google. Or, in my case, I looked at my Career Service's list. Janickg's link is a little out of date (Salomon Brothers!) and is missing quite a few banks. Just search.

I imagine that your undergraduate grades and your GMAT score would carry just as much weight (if not more) than your work experience.

The multiple HH/resume problem

I'd like to know this, too. Huxley has my CV from a few months back. Is this going to affect my applications to graduate programmes?

Does passing an online test lead to an automatic interview?

<t>I was wondering whether banks internally assign different "grades" to different scores on psychometric tests. Is there any way you could do so well you get an interview on the spot, or do you always get "Under Review" if you have passed? In other words, are they looking for a required minimum and...

CV Advice: Employment History, References

<t>Thanks for the replies.Just a quick confirmation. If during a reference check a bank somehow finds out I worked somewhere for two months (just vacation work), is there a chance that some legal technicality will cause them to revoke the offer? Obviously, I would never lie at an interview if asked ...

CV Advice: Employment History, References

Forgive me, but I have looked through the old threads but could not find any discussion on employment history. Could you provide a link if you have one?And to spice, it was in finance.

CV Advice: Employment History, References

<t>I was just wondering what the banks expect to see on your CV and in the work history sections of their application forms. Is the general rule to include absolutely everything or to include only those positions that involved relevant skills? In particular, if I had a T.A. position for a few years b...

How many applications is enough?

I'm getting a bit worried here. My first application was made on the 3rd and my latest on the 15th. I haven't heard anything from anyone, except that my applications have been received. What gives?

How many applications is enough?

Just to be clear, I haven't been rejected from any of the 21 firms. On the other hand, I have had no invitations yet for an interview. Getting a bit anxious here.

How many applications is enough?

Good point (if I understood you correctly). I think I'll just wait until November and see how many interviews (if any) I get lined up. In the meantime, I'm studying like mad. Books, newspapers, etc.
