Still can't understand why it's not a good choice to exercise American call option earlier?The Hull textbook reasons: concern the time value of money.But if I exercise the deep in the money call option, I get the cash, the cash still can have the time value, right?

I wonder why we they are not equal if the interest is not constant? I thought they are the same stuff unless one is the OTC securities.
