According to what I heard, in Newyork only a few big IBs have entry level openings, the same in hongkong. I think plan B is quite necessary at this stage.Is there a great recession happening in the city?

As we all know that banks not willing to apply work permit. how can a fresh PhD get a job in City? suppose he/she is over 28 without any working experience, so HSMP is not applicable.
