Hi,I received a counter offer from my current employer, but the revised salary won't take effect until next March when salary review starts. I'm curious to know whether this is the case for all firms or they just try to minimize the remuneration.Thanks!

why not go through an umbrella company? maybe you get a bit less compared with setting up ltd, but umbrella company does all the nasty things for you. the only thing left to you is to send the timesheet and check your bank account.
