I know a few very intelligent but lazy men - they married women who know how to hustle one way or another. This is a different spi...

Re: Final Thoughts for 2019

It might take some time to unravel this.
Caveat: no strings attached.
That's just one skein. Haha. I will be attaching some of these strings to each other soon and they will make a nice sweater. : )

Re: All about Cats

Cat looks
Adorable black kitty!  Is this the one you have rescued from Egypt?

That was quite a story, but a great cause!

(and if so, how are your other two cats handling the newcomer? Could be harmonious, could be... !!!)

Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

This is going downhill very quickly.  He he. ; )

But you can google "Thule Air Base" and "Greenland rare earths" and come up with some useful information.

It's an interesting move/diplomatic gaffe in the Post Cold War/Cold War II theater.

Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

But... it's American! Does he want to buy his own air base? Buying the entire country would secure the future for the Base.   Look at strategic considerations - Intercontinental Ballistic Missile early warning system, proximity to Arctic Circle.  The northern most base for the US.... And the rare e...

Re: Trump -- the last 100 days

What's so special in Greenland?
Thule Air Base (a U.S. holdover from WWII/Cold War and now focused on space defense) and separately - rare earth elements and ores.

Not justifying the crazy scheme, but just FYI.

Re: What do you prefer?

I'm torn. This is not the OT. But, given that this involves my two favorite WoW, I should probably come clean and confess that I'm part amaretto chocolate mousse. Hehe.  Well: 1) This is nothing compared to the spam that has popped up around here recently. Particularly a series posted in multiple f...

But I will say that I have a recipe for Amaretto Chocolate Mousse that would have both of us licking the silver off the spoons to get that last tiny bite.   https://www.thespruceeats.com/thmb/skCkAMihwv6wM4LZS84qkfqH3i4=/450x0/filters:no_upscale():max_bytes(150000):strip_icc()/GettyImages-57042550-5...

Re: How to safeguard my research

Hello Amin, I just noticed your recent posts in the last few days. I have been taking an extended break from the Forum, but wanted to say hello. On the research concern - I think your work is very well documented here and also on SSRN, so you have a clear record of publication with time stamps and a...
