equity options MMs/traders, what vol models are you running

when I left the industry back in 09, most traders I knew were on some sort of local vol model (fitting quadratics to the market), although I had some success with SABR. I'm wondering if there has been a shift to stochastic vol models lately or maybe some other fancy stuff?

that's pretty interesting. i think on options exchanges (in the US at least) we only have the 'traditional' type orders and you send IOC most of the time (at least one exchange only allows IOC orders)

if your system is fast enough, just price your options and buy/sell everything that's out of line. if there are good trades offered, you'll get there before everyone else. i don't think there are any specific strategies for 'high speed systems'.
