two or three years in Boringham are not going to kill you. if that is the kind of job you want take it and move back to London when you will have some relevant experience on your CV. to me, number 2 sounds best.

you can not know everything! when i was a school kid i worked out all the theory of relativity (special and general) myself. completely independent from any existing knowledge.
