Exactly, what I wanted to say that it is hard to do switch from IT to trader job. But to get trader job straight from grad is also difficult. So, you should exploit your good location and try to network extensively to get job.

It definately prepares you, but I think that recruiters consider it to be worse than MFE. So, you would be at disadvantage. Most probably, you should do MFE.

It means choosing where you want to work in the future. LSE-> IB (not-quantitative jobs like M&A) or Birbeck MFE (maybe also IB but quantitative job).
