Re: Special Topics by Outrun

I see you have latent barista talent, but it's more complicated than meets te eye... One of the main sets of " personal historical variables" is the data that has been collected by a IoT scanner. If I detect any scanning whatsoever I will dislike whatever gets served. For me it's very easy to detect...

At least the...

Re: Obtaining the (unknown) Probability density function (pdf)

Unfortunately I don't know of any good papers -but I haven't looked at is for a decade!- We started with a simple forecast model, .. examined the residue for structure and explanatory variables. We had however hourly day-ahead prices and had to model the intraday structure as well. Not sure if you n...

Re: Amusing Quotes

Yes, I agree, a very bad experiment,... Or something that has a natural growth rate? I can give my kids a basil plant (they love basil, very hard to keep). They'll eat off leafs,.. but how many?! At some point the plant is going to die.

Re: Amusing Quotes

spec.gamma

is the discount rate. When it is zero, the agent will be maximally greedy and won't plan ahead at all. It will grab all the reward it can get right away. For example, children that fail the marshmallow experiment have a very low gamma.

The "Laika" backpack?
Yes! It's a space cat capsule. And just as Einstein was a woman, Laika was a cat!
Lol, .. and what's the cat thinking of this? I once nearly missed a flight because the cat wouldn't get into the transportcage
