Re: Special Topics by Outrun

..there is also a cat-and-mouse game on the website level: if I visit diep.io (another game) it sees I have tampermonkey installed which allows me to inject bots into the page. They don't want that!

Re: Special Topics by Outrun

Yes good point about the cooperative tactics, that indeed something you see. Along that line you see lots of other biological analogies, e.g. there are brainless spambots that just move in straight lines with names like "visitMysite.com". Those are easy targets to attack, *however* these is also *mi...

Re: Special Topics by Outrun

Yes is does, you needs to send commands to the server or else you simply keep on pushing straight ahead. Sometimes there is network latency and then everything freezes. I (=human) then make circles with my mouse -hoping that I'll roll up like a turd and be protected-. For now I'm coding the brain th...

Re: Special Topics by Outrun

I get mistaken for a bot or a non-outrun all the type by making entry errors, the goal it the reverse: to prevent a bot or someone to pose as me. It'll be very difficult for someone to get hold of a "kata behavior list" like "focus on the cat, any tofu, romantic furniture.. but never look at the car...

t4a: I'm capturing 9 (32 bit) floats {orientation, rotationspeed, acceleration}, ..settled on 24Hz because that should be sufficient and aligns with other things. First things I'm going to try are  autoencoders ,  RNN ,   LSTM    google translate   kata: I'm not doing any research, but I've been think...

Kata: That picture is a great sample of an image you can use for interactive biometric identification via tracking of eye movement. Different people will pay attention to different elements, it's difficult to control, and that can be used as an unique signature. T: I bet you like  bouldering, there ...

It's going to be tough to get the app running before Wednesday,..but I'll try! It should indeed be very useful to have samples of that! (interesting new aspect: can I capture 16.000 meters of data that's many many seconds!) Friends of mine have started rowing again (our city has many rowing clubs),....

There is no hurry so whenever you find a new barn we could try some experiments? A GoPro won't work, I try to stick to acceleration data from the iPhone sensor to keep it somewhat simple :-)

Re: Special Topics by Outrun

Looks great indeed, ...a bit like windsurfing at sea? (one of the few things I can compare it with, occasional jump from a big wave) Today I worked a bit on a motion capture & classification app, next week I'll be asking people to start recording various "activity types" for me. If only I knew someo...
