Re: norway

That's fantastic! I have a question. Where on this map, near central Oslo, is a safe but close to nature place to live for a couple (a woman and a cat)? Re: Are You Ready for Some Rugby?

Some of the rugby teams have strange cheerleader teams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqfHv9FOpXw Having never contemplated the idea of watching a rugby match (assuming “match” is the right word), even I could figure out that this melee is the feared All Black team cheering on itself. https://mur...

Re: Advance Planning for Covid Redux: What We Had, What We Needed

Llama antibody engineered to block coronavirus Based on antibodies isolated from llamas, researchers engineered an antibody that prevented SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, from entering cells in laboratory experiments. Not sure this research will save the jumans, but at least we know wha...

Re: "Unified Revolution" new book by Espen Haug

Actually you can perform the measurement of the local radius quite easily near Oslo. You'll need a torch producing a narrow beam (something small or with diodes instead of a bulb), a tripod, an A4 sheet of paper, running shoes and a local map. Go at night to the lake. Place the torch in the tripod a...

Re: Are You Ready for Some Rugby?

"For example, Obair, work or job, became gruber in Gammon."

So Tyson Fury's mother told him to go and find a job, but one of them confused the whole secret code and he's become a rugber?

I'm thinking about getting rid of all my tattoos. They faded over the last 10 years and I don't like them anymore, so cover them with clothes. Not so comfortable in the summer.
