3 mths notice period!!

Ambush Order

<t>Looks like a Merrill Lynch trademark client algorithm, designed to execute immediately a relatively large % of ADV. From a quick Google around it looks like it splits your order in to waves, and then sends them down at the far touch price to ensure immediate execution. This means that it doesn't ...

Advice on offers

<t>You can make a LOT of money on systems like Murex, Summit, etc. I cannot speak directly of Murex, but I do have good friends who are earning four figure daily rates on Summit. With regard to age, I worked with a ex-IT guy now quant/trader who went back to finance school aged 35/36, and is now (at...

MSc Finance Birkbeck vs. MSc Finance Imperial

Don't rule out a one-year research course (Msc(r) or MRes), the entry for those is usually more negotiable since it's just you and a supervisor.

MSc Finance Birkbeck vs. MSc Finance Imperial

<t>One observation, it's a bit late to be thinking about doing an MSc for this academic year - I presume that Imperial will be completely full, and Birkbeck might be close to full.I started the Birkbeck course a few years back, but felt it was quite poor and pulled out. The maths they were teaching ...
