Laptop to program on the move

I wouldn't fork out for a MBP, totally overpriced. Get a normal laptop with adequate resolution and RAM and run OSX in VMWare Player (free) if you really need it. You'll need to do some faffery with VMWare Player to get OSX to install and boot.

Calling "delete this;" in a member function.

Errors such as double deletes are detected using heuristics AFAIK and so aren't fool proof. Debug mode code just has higher levels of checking.

Visual C++ Compiler Nov 2012 CTP (v120_CTP_Nov2012)

If it compiles it compiles. I got intellisense errors before about variable scope issues when nesting lambdas. The program compiled and ran fine.
