Re: trackstar's Needle Exchange

You finally reduced your digital entropy and threw in some random bits! :-) I've been thinking about you yesterday, wondering if everything is OK. Whole Lotta Love! :-) Hehe - yes, like beauty, the signal-to-noise ratio is subjective though.  We see ample evidence of that in the OT!  Does unlimited...

White Summer Another postcard for the forum. It's been awhile - how are you all doing? : ) Last night I dreamed that I was taking guitar lessons and had arrived at the place for the first one. It was a large Victorian house with a great room filled with tapestries and antiques. I sat down and was t...

Re: Advance Planning for Covid Redux: What We Had, What We Needed

Useful article - kind of have to laugh at the subtitle, but still - some good links and general overview. COVID vaccines and safety: what the research says - Nature February 16 "It is clear that coronavirus vaccines are safe and effective, but as more are rolled out, researchers are learning ab...

Re: Advance Planning for Covid Redux: What We Had, What We Needed

Yes, following that issue and other question marks, like anomalies that are turning up on mammograms after some vaccinations. Do the lumps disappear over time or...? With all the vax choices, good to consider carefully, especially knowing that this set of vaccines could already be obsolete, as you n...

Re: Advance Planning for Covid Redux: What We Had, What We Needed

Thanks Alan and katastrofa for the comments and link. Will be reading more on the weekend and if anything interesting pops up, I'll post it here. For fun, I am also researching cars online these days - maybe will buy a new SUV in the next few weeks or so.  I love to drive, as some of you know, and i...

Re: Advance Planning for Covid Redux: What We Had, What We Needed

Good to know you are (almost) all set and thanks for the observations.

I'm not in a hurry on this and there are many people who are, so I'll wait it out for a bit.

But good to gather info in the meantime - both first hand/anecdotes and also published papers.

Re: Advance Planning for Covid Redux: What We Had, What We Needed

On a serious note (for a moment!): I am doing some research on the various vaccines available and will be watching over time at reports of initial symptoms, prevalence, patterns, demographics, and any longer term, potentially hidden effects that may emerge. Not being paranoid, just want to be inform...

Re: Are you ready for Brexit?

I did not watch the show and don't plan on it, but a question: Considering that Prince Philip has been in the hospital for a few weeks, wouldn't it have been polite/thoughtful for everyone involved to postpone this show? The Queen also had the covid vaccination - not sure if that is connected or not...

Re: Wish list for www.wilmott.com V2.0

Pretty much every decision is a) unilateral and b) unexplained (and even totally inexplicable). You never know what's coming next. Are you trolling this forum again? Let's make some new proposals for the Wish List. 1) Casual Fridays on the forum (not like Alan suggested though - please at least wea...

Changing the rules of the game can be a good move in itself.

For me: RIP pictures that are NSFW and, these days, NSFWFH. Hehe
