I don't understand MBA rankings, I mean who the f cares? If you're spending two years and about 100k on a degree, look at the employment statistics instead of rankings. It's business school, you learn similar BS at most decent schools.

Curious: If you had to do it over again would you get a MBA from Wharton or another instead of the M Fin.? Even with the extra cost in terms of time lost, tuition and competition in the form of thousands of MBA's? Why get an MBA now?

I know they existed before the 1990's. If you read Derman's autobiography, he mentions working on them in the early 80's I think and credits them for the large number of home owners in the US
