Re: FIVE hundred years from now: can you predict the Software Landscape in anno 2525?

What is interesting  is to try and predict the next 5 years. Some possible scenarios are: 1. Prototyping in Python replaced/augmented with C++ production systems. 2. Evolving mathematical maturity (e.g. SGD gives way to RKHS etc.) 3. Specialised libraries, no 'one size fits all'. 4. Python code mai...

Cuch, I thought you follow my posts and you know that I do not believe in religion.

Amin,
That's two remarks.
Your posts were readable until that recent post. My remark was non-denominational.

Re: American options with two free boundaries

I'll try to scope the problem. 1. infinite time interval 2. American call option; right to build or to abandon the land. 3. H = constant rate of holding costs (we could take H = 0 for starters). H is a bit fuzzy. Do we pay tax on land with no property? I wouldn't put is pat them. Probably stamp dut...

An ML/RKHS article with "Cauchy seq" inside

Take heed.  A-priori in contrast to popular a-posteriori ML science.

Re: Does Cauchy sequence ever occur in the real world or is it all the minds of mathematicians?

How can we teach Cauchy to engineers and computer scientists? They don't teach that in school, Maybe it's because ML and and ANNs don't do Cauchy sequnces. SGD: It's like getting a flat tire and fixing the problem by driving around the block a few times; maybe it will fix itself. The utility of Cauc...
