^ OK then "Microsoft are a joke" according to the Linux expert...I rest my case here.
That's not what Farid is saying. Don'y give in. Tell us how fast your stuff is. Have you done benchmarks.
My hunch is that Equilibrium is a front-end to some modules in Accord,net..

Numerical programming in C# is a joke (as well the Q# thing in the Quantum programming thread)
In many cases C# outperforms C++. And it takes 3-4 times less human effort.

E.g. freeing memory (GC)? Besides, everything will strongly depend on the compiler used.
