Is there any GOOD documentation of quantlib python?

June 24th, 2022, 8:29 am

Hey guys

So i just have started to do some pricing with quantlib and it gets very frustrating since the best documentation avaliable is  this cookbook but I still find it pretty unclear. Do you know any good documentation that make it easier to learn how to use the library? The readthedocs.io is also pretty bad.

Any advise would be appreciated, thanks!

Hey @danidm. Welcome.
What is a "good" documentation?
What do you intend to do?
What have you tried out?
Where did you get stuck?

Hi Danidm.
I'm looking to use quantlib in Python, and I was wondering if you managed to get something interesting.

OP stated it is "pretty bad" (?), but didn't explain where/why he's stuck.

yeah, not very informative, indeed.
I installed it and did a test case, Fine, I might use for some clients in energy market, in any case to motivate the models.
It looks prety extensive.
