Hello,I would be interested to know which tools you are using ? As far as I am concerned I work (besides excel ;-) with Mathematica, Eviews and R.Best regards,Christoph

I use Fortran 95. It has basic array operations similar to Matlab, and there are well-tested and efficient codes for the typical numerical algorithms needed in statistical computing in the areas of linear algebra and optimization. Retired statistician Alan Miller has created a site http://users.bigpond.net.au/amiller/ with many algorithms, and there are links to many codes at the Open Directory at http://dmoz.org/Computers/Programming/L ... nometrics/ .

I use MATLAB, E-views, SPSS, and SAS. I think E-views has the best package for time series.
