Lotus Notes Hall of Shame

QuoteOriginally posted by: rmaxWhatever you do just don't hit F7 if you use Lotus Notes when you are editing a mail. No godammnit, please don't. Everytime you do it I swear a small child is killed. What does F7 do? Spell check??? I wish. It just indents your current paragraph, kills a child, and ensures that you can never ever get the paragraph back to the format before.Don't get me wrong outlook text editing was pretty shoddy as well, this sucks.Doh ... I do not have Lotus Notes but I think you just press SHIFT+F7 to indent on the right. Lotus Notes is quite awful ...

Bluetrin - thank-you so much for that! F7 indents right, SHT F7 [sic] indents left. Simples!

and what about lync (kinda skype) that comes (seems to come) together with latest outlook version (14?).say you're working with excel or any other application. any message your receive via lync ("hello, how was your w-e?") 'desactivates' the application you was working with (the application you was working with is no longer active) . that sucks!

I have never found it for Windows 7 though. If that does not work there is a thread about this topic on SU (http://superuser.com/questions/18383/pr ... ling-focus)
